The National Exhibition Center or The NEC, opened its halls in 1976, to change the UK's conference scene forever. For more than 30 years, donned by its still orange and brown hall exteriors, the NEC remains to be the busiest exhibition center in all of Europe. It hosts an average of 160 trade shows and conferences annually, ranging from world acclaimed shows like the Crafts and Clothes Show Live to big international exhibitions such as the IPEX and Spring Fair, Birmingham.
